Northwest Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (NWRAD) will be having our annual Spring Festival weekend on April 1 and 2. Youre welcome to attend our weekend events regardless your level of American Sign Language skills or none.
Starting on Friday, April 1, we will kick off our Deaf Queer Coffee Night at usual place, 6:00-9:00 p.m. For exact location, please check our website www.nwrad.org.
After 9:00 p.m. we will head over to Madison Pub bar for our social gathering. On Saturday, we will be having brunch with guest speaker Dan Brubaker from Sprint Relay Company at Community Service Center on Deafness & Hard of Hearing (1609 19th Ave. in Seattle). Door opens at 9:00 a.m. and brunch will be served from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Brunch admission costs just $10 for all you can eat!
In the afternoon, at 1:00 p.m., we will hold our annual Spring General Meeting for our members. In the evening, at 7:00 p.m. until midnight, NWRAD will host Spring Ball at the GLBT Community Center (1115 E. Pike St. in Seattle). Spring Ball admission costs $10 and light appetizers/limited beverages will be served.
This is annual fundraising event to support NWRADs next Leadership & Lifestyle Conference Camp 2006. Please come out and meet us. Northwest Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf is a non-profit organization serving GLBT who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, hard of hearing and hearing members in Northwest Region Washington and Oregon.
