>‘Living a Normal and Healthy Lifespan with HIV’

On Thursday, June 2, Dr. Jon D. Kaiser will speak on the topic: “Living a Normal and Healthy Lifespan with HIV.” This a free event and will be held at the Swedish Medical Center First Hill Campus Glazer Auditorium (747 Broadway), 6:30-8:30 p.m. People with HIV, their friends, family and loved ones are all encouraged to attend and hear the positive messages Dr. Kaiser has to say.

In describing how a person with HIV can live a normal and healthy lifespan, Dr. Kaiser will give information on:

• How to achieve successful drug treatment interruptions (STI’s)

• Vitamins that boost the immune system

• The optimal use of hormones and exercise

• Emotional and spiritual healing techniques

Dr. Kaiser, who hails from the San Francisco area, has been treating people with HIV/AIDS and other immune system disorders for over 15 years. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of California, San Francisco Medical School and has recently been the Principal Investigator on a unique research project studying antioxidant supplementation as a complementary therapy in the hope of lessening the toxicity associated with the use of antiviral drugs to treat HIV/AIDS.

Dr. Kaiser is also the author of two critically acclaimed books on the treatment of HIV - Immune Power (1993) and Healing HIV (1999) - and currently practices as an Immune System Specialist in the San Francisco Bay area. His forté is helping his patients recover from complex medical conditions utilizing his unique program of integrating natural and pharmaceutical therapies.

Dr. Kaiser lectures nationwide averaging 12-15 lectures per year (see attached list). His lectures have been highly praised for their informative content as well as for Dr. Kaiser’s enthusiastic and engaging speaking style.
