Revolutionary Oscar Party CARA (Communities Against Rape & Abuse) March 5th from 4-8 p.m. After watching the drek Hollyweird has been turning out, you might be looking forward to the Oscars as much as I am. But, you might not want to go to the trendy type of party that some folks will be throwing. Maybe you want some political analysis along with your hors d'oevres and maybe you want some politically aware folks to hang out with. If all of that's on your menu for Sunday's Oscar party, then you'll want to be at CARA (Communities Against Rape and Abuse) for their 'Revolutionary Oscar Party', which will be held at the CARA site at 801 23rd Avenue, S., Suite G1, in the Central District. Along with revolutionary analysis between red carpet arrivals, there'll also be gift bags, drinks, food and the chance to win fabulous prizes. And you'll be giving to a good cause by paying the $25.00 donation to get into this succulent social soiree and radical party, since all the funds raised will be going to CARA.
