Harrie (Altman) Lee: Candidate for Imperial Prince XXXII of Seattle To the Board of Reviews, the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle, and to the City of Seattle: It's title time again, for us as individuals, to offer our time, money, blood, sweat and tears for the betterment of the Court of Seattle and our community. My name is Harrie (Altman) Lee and on the circuit, I just want to be known by my stage name as Harrie Lee. I have been involved with the court system since Larry and Cleve's step down at Jack McGovern's. Since then I have been involved with both the Imperial Court of Seattle and the United Ebony Council of Washington which at this time is no longer functioning with the exception of it's College of Monarchs. I joined The UEC during the 7th reign of Kurt and Carla. During the reign of 10 I ran for the title of King 11 and won. After that I served as General Treasurer of the UEC for four years and Ball treasurer for three years. Through the years I have helped with many coronations and functions, i.e.: running follow spots, helping with sets and wherever else that I was needed. On many occasions I made walking staffs for the UEC King's and Queen's and several of our Emperors. I ran for King 16 of the UEC and reigned for a second time. I have always enjoyed and been proud to serve when called upon to do so. Serving, as Board President of the UEC was one of the many positions I have been either elected to or was appointed to through the past years. I would be honored to serve as Imperial Prince XXXII of Seattle and if elected will do my best to work with the E & E's and the Imperial Court of Seattle, for the betterment of our Court and for the community at large. I don't perform often but I am a hard and dependable worker. I leave most of the entertaining to the drag titles but I will always be there for them in whatever capacity I am needed. What I would like to do, with help from all, is to get our local community bars involved with us by holding various events at them. We should all be able to work together for a common goal and for our enjoyment. I also would like to see and would like to help the Court do theme entrances at Coronations again. Sure there is a lot of work involved in achieving these goals, but the rewards, as an organization and as representatives of the Seattle Gay community , will be worth the effort. I will be proud to represent the Court of Seattle in the best of my ability up and down the I-5 corridor as well as other parts of our state as much as I can. During the past two year's, I have represented the Court as far south as Eugene Oregon and north to Everett and including the City of Spokane. I have attended Coronations and other Court events in many cities as well. I have enjoyed traveling and being a part of the Imperial Court of Seattle these past year's and look forward to representing this organization and the community in the future. JulieAnn Ferris (a.k.a. Juls Rhode-Marx): Candidate for Imperial Prince XXXII of Seattle To the Reigning Monarchs, IPP Council, Board of Directors, and the communities of Snohomish, King and Island Counties: I JulieAnn Ferris, also known as Juls Rhode-Marx, respectfully submit this letter of intent to seek the position of Imperial Prince XXXII of the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle, the Olympic and Rainier Empire. I have been an active member of the International Court System for 5_ years. I have proudly held the titles of Ms Gay Seattle 12 of the Court of Seattle, and Mr Gay Everett 21 of the Court of Everett. I have been very active in many fundraising events while representing these cities and organizations. I make this promise to you and our community, should I win, I will do my best to represent this organization with dignity, pride and respect. The ICS as a whole is about fundraising, making new friends and having fun. That's exactly what I plan to do; raise funds for our community, make new friends along the way and help our Emperor and Empress make it fun to be a part of the Court of Seattle. Win or lose I plan to continue fundraising because I care about the people, organizations and communities involved in the International Court System. Steve Anderson (a.k.a. Savannah White): Candidate for Imperial Princess 31 To the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle, the Olympic and Rainier Empire, to the Board of Directors, and to the City of Seattle: It is my honor to have the opportunity to seek the position of Imperial Princess 31 of the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle, the Olympic and Rainier Empire. My involvement with the International Court System began more than twenty years ago, and I have witnessed much growth and many changes in the Seattle Gay Community during this time. Through the years, we have made great strides toward tolerance and acceptance of all Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender & diversity. One of the greatest strengths of the Imperial Sovereign Court is in providing a positive expression of fantasy and entertainment that helps break down personal barriers and unites us all for a greater good. I aim to support the ideals of the Imperial Court, and to continue the efforts that encourage education and improve welfare in our community. I believe I can make a strong addition to the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle, the Olympic and Rainier Empire's reigning family. I encourage everyone to support this organization and I wish to invite everyone to participate in our causes and to see what a wide variety and goodwill we promote. Please come to The Mountaineer Club, 300 Third Avenue West, on Saturday, April 1, 2006 and vote for your next Imperial Prince and Imperial Princess. Voting begins at 11 am and closes at 6 pm. Please bring valid I.D., voting is open to all residents of King, Snohomish, & Island counties and Hat Island! The Imperial Prince and Princess Ball, door opens at 5:30 pm, Investitures at 5:45 pm, and the Ball begins at 6:30 pm the cost is $20.00.
