The 2006 Moisture Festival continues with all new performances through April 9
The 2006 Moisture Festival continues with all new performances through April 9
by E. Joyce Glasgow - SGN A&E Writer

The Moisture Festival continues its laugh-a-minute, one of a kind, "new" vaudeville performances at Hale's Brewery Palladium, in Ballard through April 9.

Featuring some of the most creative and entertaining performers around, the eclectic variety of acts guarantees that no two performances are ever the same.

On Sunday, March 26, the line-up included Hacki Ginda, the hysterical cabaret clown from Berlin; the Du Caniveaux Dancing Bears; "human jazz" movement artist Christian Swenson; Magical Mystical Michael with his amazing slight of hand; the Vanillatown Vaudevillians, doing innovative and uncanny tricks with a top, a string, a wooden spoon, a glockenspiel and a ping pong ball; glittery Tamara the Trapeze Artist; adept juggler Linda Severt; the sinewy, graceful, acrobatic Velone Sisters; international star Artis the Spoonman; and the truly wonderful and great sounding circus orchestra comprised of The Zebra Kings and The Fremont Philharmonic.

Keep your eyes open for all up-coming shows, especially the infamous late night "April Fools" show on April 1, The New Old Time Chautauqua benefit on April 2, the Circus Contraption shows on April 6 and 7, the late night burlesque shows on April 7 and 8 at "The Liberty" in Fremont and the big marathon closing night performance on April 9.
