| Popular Gay City event features new classes, new location and returning favorites
Registration is now open for Gay City University 2006, Gay City's popular day of learning and growing for Gay, bi and trans guys! This year's edition offers a new location, new classes, plus some returning favorites. Choose from a wide variety of classes on sexuality, health, relationships, history, culture, finances and more. GCU is $35 and includes lunch if you register by May 15th. Full class listings, plus schedule details, can be found online at www.Gaycity.org. You can also pick up a catalog at Gay City's new offices in the Center for LGBT Health at 511 E Pike Broadway. Courses are filling up fast so register today! Scholarships are available to those in need. GCU 2006 will take place on Saturday, May 20th at Seattle Central Community College on Capitol Hill. If this is your first Gay City University, bring a friend and experience the day together. Gay City University's mission is to provide opportunities for growth and learning to Gay, Bisexual and Trans men in the Seattle area through periodic non-graded classes and workshops offered in a safe and fun environment. Gay City University seeks to create a sense of community and to promote communication and self-esteem among Gay, Bisexual and Transgender men of all ages. Gay City Health Project is an innovative Gay men's health organization based in Seattle, and the premiere HIV and STD testing provider for Gay and Bisexual men in King County.
