| Norm was born in Grosse Point, Michigan on May 5, 1967. He lived there working for a time for Ford Motor Company as an applications analyst in their IT department. After visiting Seattle, he decided that Seattle would become home in 1997.
Shortly after moving to Seattle, Norm began working for PSE as an application analyst. He also met and committed to his Partner, Eric Benson. He was a loving, devoted husband to Eric and father to their daughter Theresa Benson. Norms kindness and his gentle spirit touched many. We are forever indebted to the doctors and nurses of Virginia Mason Medical Center Critical Care Unit who cared for Norm with love and tenderness during his final days of fighting cancer. Norm is survived by his husband Eric, daughter Theresa, mother Elaine, brothers Rick, Paul, Dave, Bob and Tom, sister Janet, mother in love Ann, father in love Jack and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 5:00 PM at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey funeral home located at 508 North 36th Street. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norms name are suggested to Gildas House (www.gildasclubseattle.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). |
