Two blocks
of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display December 1-10 at Woodland Park United Methodist Church. Founded in 1987, it is the largest
ongoing community arts project in the world, totaling 40,000 three foot by six
foot panels. Eight panels are sewn together to form one block. Virtually every
panel is made in honor of a specific person who has died as a result of AIDS.
Woodland Park UMC invites the public to come and view this living memorial. The
church is located at 302 N 78th Street. For more information call the
church at 206-784-6969.
