Lipstick and Lust
Some lust fulfilled, Pride's in the air, and so much more in this special 'Pride Lipstick and Lust'
by Rajkhet Dirzhud Rashid - SGN A&E Writer

Well, I thought I was too crazy busy and life was just too strange (I think the king of dreams owns my life these days and that makes getting up earlier than noon sooo hard!) to see any but one film at SIFF. I don't feel I missed a lot. My life is an indie film of its own these days and, after yesterday's ride back from seeing my daughter in Des Moines on the late 131 bus, I know I'm at least a character in a Fellini film. There was the 'man who [had] gotten bitten by two rats' (honestly folks, that's what he kept repeating, between nonsense about 'blood and brains' and some such garbage), the woman who slept, and, my favorite, the sad bus driver who sang 'Someone To Watch Over Me' on the number ten on my way home. See, I told you, a Fellini film, if not a David Lynch film, in the making.

But, then, there are other good parts to this one's life these days. Like working up the courage to actually go nude (well, I had on my pink and black boas in 'strategic locations', and some glitter) for the Fremont Solstice Parade. I held up my home made signs that read 'I'd rather go nude/than go to war', and 'bring them home', and got tons of cheers and shouts of approval and, even the parade facilitator guy who told me they couldn't have printed words (my signs dahlings) in the parade, was pretty cool about my little, impromptu protest action. And, then, I got hugged by just about every other parade participant, including 'The Super Huggers' (who had a group so lovely, it made me smile all day long after). I felt like a supah stah! And I think there should be a group of us who go nude at every protest against the war, and people who help us get quickly dressed, so we don't get arrested. Today Fremont, tomorrow Ft. Lewis!

Ah, and Saturday only got better and better, with no rain until all of the fun stuff was over, and this one and a friend (not 'army sweetie' as a certain officer of the law might have thought, when he gave this one a surprised look on his way up The Hill) had hella fun at The Wet Spot. Put together cherries, my new and lovely femme bottom, my friend (who I was teaching to top my new bottom) and I had a fun time. Oh, did I mention there were sex toys in the mix of spanking, and other 'torture' of my bottom? Such good times my little rose petals, and the ride on a new 'cowboy' lover, that this one met that very night, was the icing on the cake (no, that was actually the return of one of my fave femme play partners, who got my cowboy all worked up so my time was all joy and heaven. A very good prelude to Pride week, which I hope has been great for all of you.

And what has this one been doing with her slimmer self (the practical diet and exercise program this one's been doing is definitely working honey, let me tell ya!) besides being nude, having great times at The Wet Spot and longing for a certain officer of the law? Well, I did try some great products like Fekkai's 'Quick Quench' for hair (which makes my growing 'locks happy, happy, happy!). Also tried Claudalie's 'Beauty Elixir', this wonderful spritzer you can pick up at Sephora (the Fekkai products you can pick up there too), that is sooo good after a hard workout for rehydrating your skin and making it dewy fresh looking. And do stop by Swoon, that salon/spa up the street from the SGN at 14th and Pine, and try their 'Seaweed Night Cream' by Maria Badescu. I Love this stuff almost as much as I love Ocean Actives 'Squalane Facial Moisturizer' (which this one will be ordering again as soon as cash flow improves, which could happen if more folks got readings from this very good psychic).

So, that's it for now my little cinnamon candies, and do e-mail me at ijanaral@yahoo.com and check out the blog of this column (lipstickandlust.blogspot.com) and let me know what you think. Happy Pride! Be wonderful out there and spread peace and love wherever you go and keep writing and protesting to end the illegal war in Iraq, so my sweetie and everyone else's sweeties can come home. Buhbye!
