Lipstick and Lust
Yeah, 'Young Blues' is online, lusting for a new fall romance, and more
by Rajkhet Dirzhud-Rashid - SGN A&E Writer

First and foremost, I must thank my dear (and overworked) editor, Robert, for posting my L&L. blog, with the serial story 'Young Blues' today (imagine cheers here, folks), and second, yay team for Mr. Craig Ferguson for calling foul on Iran's homophobic leader, after said leader said 'there's no Gay people in Iran'. Shame, shame on you, you evil dictator you! They're in your prisons or being tortured or in the closet, hiding for fear you'll beat them or behead them you dumb, power mad jerk. And to think, I didn't feel one way or the other about Iran--well, I'm still not against the whole country, just homophobes like 'Amindinnerjacket' (Ferguson's delightful spin on the leader's hard to pronounce name). You rule, Fermeister, in this one's little book of faves.

Oh, and honey, even though the 'girl parts' seem to be in quite the uproar these days (why even doing myself is a pain, literally here lately!), I have still been giving in to lusty thoughts and wishes. Particularly when some emergency brought a whole group of delish looking firefighters to The Digs, and this one got a look at one (who gazed back, doncha know!) of them, as they exited via the elevator. Glad I was wearing my Valu Village purple nightie at the time dahlins! Hoo yeah! Now, if only my fantasy could come true (read about that in the October 'Sinner', where my column, 'This, I Shamelessly Tell You' is running) and I could get one of those sexy heroes, or a certain SPD officer, up to my place for a little tea and a big helping of me, I'd be a happy camper.

Ah, and I'm so in lust with the singer on those 'nanopod' commercials, who does that sexy little dance number in the blue, shimmering jumpsuit. Is that 'Feist' or just someone who sings like her? Either way, this one is entranced and has been known to stop cooking in order to watch those thirty seconds of femme bliss and be delighted by them. And yes, hot grrrlz are continuing to smile at this one, getting me all revved up, as I do my daily walk down from The Digs to the SGN offices at the beginning of the week. Who knows, there might be noise coming from my little place on The Hill any day now, and I'm so glad I ran into a certain Taurean, who's crossed over from good friend to 'friend with benefits'. Baby you can hug me on the street any old time! Ah, and yes, I've still been missing 'army sweetie' and a certain Army Ranger (who this one met earlier this year at that happening spot in Tacoma, 'The Loft') like crazy. Hope they're both staying out of harms way and keeping those sweet bods safe while they're doing the army thang.

So, what did this one try that she wants to share with you, my little rose buds? Well, the very nice sales clerk at Sephora hooked me up with Caudalie's 'Fluide IP8 Bonne Nuit', a wonderful night cream that's almost as good as my fave, Ocean Actives Squalane (which this one spilled in her sink, so she must buy more soon!) oil. Makes one look tasty after a long night of weird dreaming, let me tell ya! And do try Maybelline New York's Shimmer Powder in 'Rock Royalty' if you're going out, or if you just want to perk up your look with a little sunny color in these dark days of fall. Also do try Marc Jacobs 'Daisy' (which this one was wearing with her little black mini dress from the Venus catalogue last week at the opening of Lone Star Love, and getting much attention). A very subtle, but sexy scent everyone can wear, that's sure to turn heads in a good way when you walk into a room.

Oh, oh, and I must say I 'heart' for sure the two new shows, 'The Big Bang Theory' (which premiered last Monday on CBS), and 'K-Ville' (which premiered two weeks ago on FOX). Yummy, and funny, 'Big Bang' features cute blonde newcomer Grace Cuoco, and using the post-Katrina action in New Orleans, 'K-Ville' rocks it hard, with veteran actor Anthony Anderson as a cop teamed with Cole Hauser, his partner with a dark secret in his past. Check these out and keep tuned, as I'll be letting you know how this one likes the new vampire series, 'Moonlight', which looks like its going to be a rip-off of the much loved 'Angel' from back in the day. Until next time, check out the blog, with the new serial story, 'Young Blues', about the doings of SPD characters and a very complex serial killer at its heart. And do feel free to e-mail me at ijanaral@yahoo.com and let me know what you think about that and this column. For now, be wonderful little goblins out there, and stay safe too. Buhbye!
