Tom Hanes xxxx-2007
Tom Hanes passed away the night of Thursday, December 6th, 2007, due to complications resulting from lymphoma. Tom was the son of Jodi Dow (Hanes) and Harley Hanes and spent the majority of his life in the Seattle area he loved so much.
Tom's greatest joy came from running his bed and breakfast, Landes House, where he made friends from all over the world and shared his wit and wisdom with all who encountered him. He enjoyed the adventures that life took him to and was not afraid to try something new or to be different from the rest. We should all strive to embrace our lives and family, both blood and chosen, with love and joy the way that Tom did. Tom will be deeply missed by many.
Tom was preceded in death by his mother and father, and is survived by his longtime partner Larry Claridge, his stepfather Ray Dow, two fur-kids whom he loved dearly; Gabby and Willy, and his BFF Chris Hill.
There will be no services, however donations can be made in Tom's memory to Lifelong AIDS Alliance and to the Woodland Park Zoo.

Robert Zuhlke, 1954-2007
I am sorry to relate that Robert "Bob" Zuhlke from Seattle and the Lake Stevens area, left us for a better campground on Tuesday, December 18, in Orlando, FL, after a long siege of brain tumors over the last two or three years. He was 53. He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Rusty Marks, and family in Wisconsin. Bob worked for the Veteran's ADM in Seattle and where he and Rusty enjoyed camping at Bender Creek and Lake Stevens, north of Seattle.
Funeral arrangements are being made in Orlando and Wisconsin.
Lenny.
