BFA dance concerts February 21-March 1 Broadway Performance Hall 1625 Broadway Free, though tickets are required The Cornish College of the Arts Dance Department presents the 2008 BFA Concerts February 21-March 1, showcasing the choreography and performance work of Cornish Dance Department's class of 2008. An eclectic array of dance styles and viewpoints will be represented, ranging from modern dance to ballet, jazz, and musical theater, with some dances performed to live music. The concert series will also include performances of works commissioned from professional guest choreographers as noted below. All events are free and open to the public, but tickets are required for admission. Ticket reservations can be made by calling (206) 726-5151, Ext 1018 by February 19, 2008. Program 1, February 21-22, 8 p.m. Featuring Rian Creighton Jessica Finn, Geoffrey Johnson, Nicole Mitchell, Whitney Owens and Maggie Wegener. Guest choreography by Wade Madsen, Alana Rogers, Markeith Wiley, Deborah Wolf, and Cassandra Wulff. Program 2, February 23, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Featuring Audrey Folk, Annie Kohn, Rebecca Morris, Amanda Oie, Brittany Schank, Nicholas Strasburg. Guest choreography by Courtney Harris, Amii LeGendre, Maureen Whiting, Markeith Wiley and Deborah Wolf. Program 3, February 28-29, 8 p.m. Featuring Katie Bruce, Danica Castillo, Hannah Cook, Jennifer MacDonald, and Victor Reyes. Guest choreography by Jason Flores, Natasha Greenwalt-Murphy, Laura Jaffe, and Ellie Sandstrom. Program 4, March 1, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Featuring Kim Almquist, Lindsay Bickford, Heather Eichorst, Joel Hathaway, Lisa Krug and Belle Wolf. Guest choreography by Barbara Caioli, Aaron Draper, Jamie Karlovich and Jason Ohlberg.
