Nuns with big baskets: Easter fundraiser at The Cuff
Nuns with big baskets: Easter fundraiser at The Cuff
What could be more fun than an Easter egg roll on the White House lawn using hand grenades? More satisfying than a Dilletante chocolate bunny the size of Dick Cheney? An evening with the Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence at The Cuff complex, of course.

On Easter Sunday, March 23, 9 p.m. (so as not to conflict with church or brunch), The Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence, Abbey Of St. Joan will be hosting "Balls & Baskets Easter Fun," a fundraiser conceived by Novice Sister Enchantress D'Noir to help raise dough for the NorthWest Rainbow Alliance for the Deaf LLC camp. The camp focuses on deaf LGBTIQ youth campers in learning leadership skills, identities and sexuality (and maybe make a few lanyards). In additional to the usual festivities common to Sister events, the Abbey nuns will be selling special "eggs" to be used in drawings for fabulous prizes. So hop on down and don't be cheep - it's for the kids!
