| GLSEN Washington State held a candlelight vigil |
| GLSEN Washington State held a candlelight vigil on Sunday, March 9, 2008, on the south plaza outside Seattle Central Community College in memory of Lawrence King, the 15-year-old Oxnard, CA student who was murdered at his school by his 14-year-old classmate. Friends say he was killed because of his sexual orientation and gender expression and his open crush on his 14-year-old classmate. About 75 people held candles in the courtyard in his honor. |
