| Triangle Recreation Camp opens May 17 after snow delay
|
Triangle Recreation Camp (TRC) usually opens for Gay and Lesbian campers mid April. But this year, due to heavy snow and a long winter, the campground was forced to delay opening until May 17, weather permitting. "There is just too much snow to get into the parking lot, and the snow plows created a large snow berm, preventing vehicle access onto the property." says Dale M. VP Operations.
TRC is the favorite member-owned-and-operated non-profit campground exclusively for Gay men and Lesbians in the Pacific Northwest. TRC offers primitive camping to its members in an old-growth forest fronting the Stilliguamish River in the beautiful Cascade foothills. This 80-acre nature conservancy is located a 1.5 hour drive north of Seattle along a National Scenic Byway, and comes alive each summer with thousands of Gay men and women campers. Please visit www.camptrc.org frequently for updated opening information.
