Q-Scopes by Jack Fertig
ARIES (March 20 - April 19): There's a time and a place and an effective technique for showing off. Sharpen that skill now! When you trip up, embarrassment and self-consciousness - which you get over quickly - can bring insights that you'll keep forever.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20): Domestic or family pride stirs your creative juices, and just enough critical self-awareness helps you refine your efforts. Friends will jump in, misunderstanding what you're doing. But with good humor and adaptability, you could learn something from their feedback.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20): Efforts to improve relationships with family, especially parents or other elders, seem to go well at first, but be ready for something to complicate the process. You're sufficiently clever and good at improvising to find the blessing in disguise.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22): You can find bargains and get especially resourceful with just a bit of effort. Resist the temptation to splurge on something surprisingly fabulous, but let the urge inspire you to more creative forms of economizing.

LEO (July 23 - August 22): You can spend cheap without looking cheap. You'd even be surprised at how gorgeous you can be on a budget. Some of the attention you draw will be a bit more than you wanted. The challenge is to handle that gracefully.

VIRGO (August 23 - September 22): You need a little time alone, and may even look mopey and depressed when you're really not. Take time out. Someone will try to break you out of your solitude. Know when you're ready to surface; don't let others decide for you.

LIBRA (September 23 - October 22): It could be performance anxiety that's making you touchy with your pals. Retreat as needed, and balance solitude with society. Relaxation is very important! Overexertion and stress could trigger rude shocks to your health.

SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21): Friendly, constructive criticism of your career goals can be very helpful. Your own efforts to bring a little verve to your work will be less so. Redirect that creative impulse to a more playful venue. At work, it will only be disruptive.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 20): New ideas need some honing. Find a teacher or authority in the field to help you polish your inspiration. The nagging, critical-parent voice in your head is wrong, but answering it can help clarify your thoughts.

CAPRICORN (December 21 - January 19): Sporting something old, exotic, and/or leatherish will heighten your sexual appeal. (Samurai warlord? Victorian schoolmistress?) Anyone who jokes about it - and some will - is merely jealous of your imagination, allure...and success!

AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18): Your partner (for life or du jour) has some sexual desires you may have to stretch a bit to accommodate. This could be a good learning experience! If money is involved, think at least twice before reaching for your wallet.

PISCES (February 19 - March 19): You're looking great at work, which seems to be annoying some colleagues. Their criticism could prove very helpful. The temptation to act out boldly should be carefully considered. Find an outlet for that energy where it won't be disruptive or dangerous.
