Our beloved friend, son, brother and
nephew, John Carll Goodpasture, 41,
passed away Saturday night, 9:16 p.m.,
September 20, 2008 at Harborview. Born in San Gabriel, CA, on May 30, 1967, John leaves behind his loving mother, Beatriz Goodpasture of Everett; father Carll Goodpasture of Oslo, Norway; brother Miguel Goodpasture from San Diego; and Peanut, the family German Shepherd that John rescued. A memorial will be held at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park, info at evergreen- washelli.com, 11111 Aurora Avenue North, this Saturday, September 27 at 3:00 p.m. A reception follows in Ballard. Exceedingly generous, John was loved by all who crossed his path and had been employed at Bank of America since 1991. He immersed himself in music; he loved all types, but especially Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, Diana Ross and R&B vocalists. John shared this musical enthusiasm with his many friends and it was his music that we often listened to during festive occasions. He was an amazing cook and enjoyed traveling, pets, the gym, the outdoors and being in the sun, and recently discovered the fulfillment of camping in the woods! Magically charming, he was a very simple, gentle soul who recognized and taught us the value of friendship. John, you will eternally live in our hearts and we are all so much better as human because of you |
