The Knights of Malta will be hosting a CELEBRATION OF LIFE for our late president and lifetime member, Harvey William Koehler, on Sunday, March 22, 2009 beginning at 2 p.m. at Martin's Off Madison. Harvey lost his courageous battle with cancer on February 26, 2009. In lieu of flowers, his partner and family request donations should be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in his name. (www.fhcrc.org/donating/indiv/tribute/index.html) Harvey was born in Spokane, Washington on April 26, 1942. He went peacefully in his home surrounding by family. His life partner William Burklow, sister Virginia Koehler, brother Thomas Koehler, son and daughter-in-law G. Dwayne and Sharon Koehler, son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Nancy Koehler, daughter Lisa Benson, grandchildren Mitchell and Jennifer, and many friends, survive him. He will remain forever in our hearts, minds, and actions. Please join the Knights of Malta in celebrating the life of not only our president, but also the example of what being a good citizen of our community is all about. |
