NV Senate votes to override veto on domestic partnerships

Tonight, two Republicans flipped to override Gov. Jim Gibbons' veto of a domestic partnership registry in Nevada in the state Senate, 14-7. (That makes 10 Ds, 4 Rs voting for; 2 Ds and 5 Rs voting against.)

Assembly vote is expected Sunday, expected to override there as well. They need at least two flippers in the Ass, too. One Democrat, however, is in the hospital tonight. Need his vote, too, to make it happen. Suspense!!!
