This year’s theme is “Cirque du Q.” The event expects 2,500+ visitors throughout weekend, with 55% coming from the Tri-Cities area and other attendees from Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Canada. On Saturday, July 17, from 9:30 p.m. until past midnight, the 12th Annual Gay Basin Pageant will be held at Out and About (327 W. Lewis, Pasco, WA). Join Out and About Nightclub along with Mr. Gay Columbia Basin XI, Scotty Mathers Marche, and Miss Gay Columbia Basin XI, Selina Kyle for the 12th Annual Gay Columbia Basin Pageant! This is always the busiest night of the year, so you'll want to make sure you purchase your tickets early and reserve your tables now! Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $12 at the door. On Sunday, July 18, at noon, join the Mid-Columbia Pride March.

KITSAP PRIDE 2010
Planning is underway for the Kitsap Pride celebration, to be held on Saturday, July 17 in Bremerton’s Evergreen Park (1500 Park Ave.). This year’s theme is “One World, One Heart, One Pride,” and is the international theme adopted by Interpride. The main event at Kitsap Pride will be July 17th from noon to 5 p.m. at Evergreen Park. They have a great line up on the stage, a growing list of vendors, and a new layout for the stage and food area that will surely be a hit. Go check it out. Bring chairs, blankets and make it a day. The bouncy house and children’s crafts will return to “Kid Valley,” and the youth from the Q center have a “Cirque de la Queer” experience planned. Red Star hosts the Pride Party at the Bremerton Eagles with DJ Dana Dub from Seattle dance spot Neighbours and the Seattle Eagle. Miss Tory Marchella and friends will be back with a great show! Recent crowds have been over 300, so this night should be crazy fun! Vendor applications are available and have been coming in steadily. Volunteers are being recruited to help plan and more will be needed the day of the event.

VANCOUVER, B.C. PRIDE 2010
On Sunday, August 1, Vancouver, BC celebrates Pride 2010. Spanning 20 blocks and attracting an audience of over 600,000 in 2009, the Pride Parade is Vancouver’s premier celebration of culture and diversity. The 2010 Pride Parade will start in the heart of downtown Vancouver at noon at Robson and Thurlow, then head west down the hill to Denman street, following Denman to Pacific and Beach Avenue before finishing at the Sunset Beach festival site. Celebrations continue after the Parade at the Sunset Beach festival site. There will be a crowd that reaches over 110,000 people in the park listening to live music by local performers and headliners on the Festival Stage. There are 125 booths with a diverse range of products and services with drinking and dancing at the beer garden. The Vancouver Pride Society adopted a three-year theme of “Educate, Liberate, Celebrate,” focusing on one of the three elements each year. In 2010, we focus on Liberate, and what it means to be free. In parts of the world and even in our own country, Pride is still a movement to liberate. Pride is a vehicle to educate, liberate and celebrate and every summer, that’s what we do here in Vancouver.
