This year's new anti-bullying bill - HB 1163 - passed its final test in the state House of Representatives on April 13.

It will now go to the governor for her signature.

DC REPORT - 12 activists arrested for taking over Rep. Cantor's office

A dozen AIDS activists were arrested at the office of Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on April 11. According to witnesses, they were chanting 'GOP spreads HIV.'

Marriage equality bill introduced in Uruguay

A bill to legalize same-sex marriages was introduced in Uruguay's parliament, the General Assembly, on April 13.
