Logo bumps Paris Hilton documentary
Gay channel ignores her apologies for homophobic tirade

by Shaun Knittel - SGN Associate Editor

Some things you just can't take back. Taking a page out of 'Quentin Crisp's Guide to Making the Gays Disavow You,' Paris Hilton was secretly recorded on September 7 chatting with two friends in a cab, during which she reportedly railed, 'Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They're disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.'

Hilton is finding out just how badly she messed up with Gay fans. Despite her having apologized twice (officially), the LGBT-focused Logo cable channel has pulled a documentary about the hotel heiress that was scheduled to air - proving that sometimes, saying you're sorry just isn't enough.

Per the New York Post, the documentary, titled Paris Hilton Inc., was pulled from the channel's slate on Monday, and insiders tell the paper that Hilton's anti-Gay remarks directly impacted the decision.

The documentary, which was first released in 2007, focuses on the rabid culture of celebrity goosed up by the likes of Hilton, as well as the business ecosystem it fosters.

Late last week, Hilton posted an apology letter on GLAAD's website that praised Gays as 'the strongest and most inspiring people I know.'

According to E! News, Hilton's got at least one unlikely cheerleader: controversy-prone author Bret Easton Ellis, who tweeted, 'I kind of agree with Paris Hilton' and noted that she 'isn't that far off.'
