Seattle's sexiest Halloween party returns

by Shaun Knittel - SGN Associate Editor

Seattle Erotic Art Festival is producing the second annual Seduction, dubbed 'Seattle's sexiest Halloween experience,' on Saturday, October 27, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the lush Fremont Studios (155 N. 35th St.).

Seduction features music and dancing, enticing performances, lavish erotic art, sultry interactive experiences, a costume contest with over $3,000 in prizes, and more.

'Last year, Seduction had over 1,500 of Seattle's sexiest and most creative people in attendance,' says Festival Director Clayton Hibbert. 'Seduction is a sultry, adult Halloween party with fantastic music and stunning hand-picked art. It's another chance to get dressed up, celebrate, and dance. The party will also raise money for our favorite cause: the Foundation for Sex Positive Culture, the nonprofit organization that produces the Festival.'

Seduction officials say they expect upwards of 2,000 people at this year's event, where they will showcase celebrated DJs playing a range of music, including Johnny Monsoon, Jeromy Nail, Ramiro, and others.

A SENSORY EXTRAVAGANZA
Attendees will also enjoy a visual arts showcase, live painting by urban contemporary artist John Osgood, live body painting with ultraviolet reactive paints, interactive experiences, go-go dancers and other performances, a costume contest, and much more.

Tickets to Seduction are available through SeattleErotic.org or at the door, priced at $40 (Hot Single) and $75 (Hot Couple). The Velvet VIP Experience is $115 for singles and $200 for couples, and includes reserved parking, express entry, a private VIP lounge and bar, drink tickets, after-party, and more.

Attendees must be 21 or over with a valid ID.

Seduction is followed by an official off-site after-party from 1 to 5 a.m. at the Center for Sex Positive Culture (1602 15th Ave. W.).

Proceeds benefit the Festival's parent organization, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Foundation for Sex Positive Culture, which promotes the many ways sex is beneficial through education, outreach, the arts, advocacy, and research programs that serve the public. The Foundation will have a presence at Seduction - an interactive installation called Sensation City, where attendees can experience new pleasures from rope to wax to electricity, and learn about upcoming workshops on these topics.
