HOLIDAY TREE SALE
The Seattle Area Support Groups & Community Center's annual holiday tree sale will be held November 23-December 23, 9 a.m.-9 p.m., at SASGCC (303 17th Ave. E., at E. Thomas St.).

SEATTLE MEN'S CHORUS - 'BABY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE'
The Seattle Men's Chorus kicks off their holiday concert, 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' on Friday, 11/30, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, 12/1 at 2 p.m., at Benaroya Hall (3rd Ave. & Union St.) This 'South-of-the-Border Holiday Romp' will feature special opening weekend guest artist, actress Ana Gasteyere ('Saturday Night Live' and 'Wicked'). Also joining the chorus for the entire concert run will be guest artist Arnaldo! Drag Chanteuse! FREEDOM SOCIALIST PARTY - BANQUET OF POEMS

RAINBOW CITY BAND WORLD AIDS DAY CONCERT - 'QUOLIBET'

MOVEMBER - PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS FUNDRAISER

Pine St.), Dr. Peter Shalit, MD, and the Seattle Quake Rugby Club team up to help raise prostate cancer awareness and raise money to help find a cure. Quake Rugby team members will show off the awesome moustaches they have been growing for the month to raise awareness about prostate cancer and to raise money to find a cure. MARRIAGE EQUALITY EXPLAINED
On Monday, December 3, from 6-9 p.m., at Town Hall (8th Ave. & Seneca St.), join us for an event to explain marriage equality in Washington. Panelists David Ward of Legal Voice, ACLU cooperating attorney Hank Baison, Shelbi Day of Lambda Legal, and Jill Mullins of the QLaw Foundation will discuss legal issues that persist around marriage equality due to federal and state failures to recognize same-sex marriages. Panelists will discuss what happens if you get married in Washington and will explain the ways that state and federal laws impact the realization of full marriage equality. Panelists will answer questions about taxes, insurance, Social Security benefits, immigration, parental rights and more. They will also discuss the potential of the Supreme Court ruling on the constitutionality of the federal Defense of Marriage Act ('DOMA') and what the decision could mean for married same-sex couples. SEATTLE GAY & LESBIAN BOOK CLUB - CHANGES (IN A LITTLE GAY BAR)
The Seattle Gay & Lesbian Book Club meets every Wednesday from 6-7:15 p.m., at Seattle Area Support Groups Community Center (303 17th Ave. E. at E. Thomas St.).

In December, the club will discuss Changes (In a Little Gay Bar), a new novel by book club organizer Nick DiMartino - 24 linked stories taking place in Seattle's historic Wallingford neighborhood Gay bar.

It's about a middle-aged Gay guy with zero self-confidence who is badgered by his best friend and shrink into making a habit out of walking to his little neighborhood Gay bar. It has dozens of non-sterotypical, realistic Gay characters. It's funny, sad, scary, honesst, and hopefully surprising. All GLBTQ folks are welcome to participate in this FREE book club. BISHOP GENE ROBINSON - 'STRAIGHT TALK ABOUT GAY MARRIAGE'

Now that Washington voters have approved marriage equality, Bishop Gene Robinson (the first openly Gay person to become a bishop in the historic tradition of Christiandom) will not so much be 'making the case' for marriage equality as joining in the celebration. SEATTLE CITY HALL - FREE WEDDING CEREMONIES
On Sunday, December 9, Seattle City Hall (600 4th Ave.) will be hosting free wedding ceremonies in the grand lobby for same-sex couples who have received marriage licenses on Thursday, December 6, and who have RSVP'd (available now) for the ceremony at www.seattle.gov. Seattle City Hall will be opened to welcome those who would like to get married in the grand lobby that day, along with their family and friends. Local judges have volunteered to officiate the weddings, and artists are working to create beautiful displays in front of which couples can take their vows.

SEATTLE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OFFERING FREE GROUP CHURCH WEDDING
On Sunday, December 9, at 2 p.m., Seattle First Baptist Church (1111 Harvard Ave., at E. Seneca St.), is hosting a FREE group church wedding to celebrate the first day for same-sex couples to legally marry. Want a church wedding, choir and all, free of charge, on the first day that same-sex marriage is legal? Couples wishing to be married in the beautiful, historic sanctuary that day must do two things: 1) obtain your marriage license on December 6, which is the soonest that's possible for same-sex couples (and not later, because there is a three-day waiting period) and then 2) contact the church to reserve your spot (no couple with a license will be turned away).
