Pearl Jam Pop-up Shop features rare memorabilia

by Albert Rodriguez - SGN A&E Writer

The biggest Pearl Jam fans in the world are right here, naturally, in Seattle. This explains the band's one day Pop-Up Shop this weekend at The Showbox Market.

Hard-to-find and limited edition items, plus a Gibson 'Jack Casady' bass guitar signed by each member of the Grammy-winning group, comprise some of the memorabilia on-hand at the event, scheduled between 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 7.

Specific items awaiting buyers include a Benaroya Hall Vinyl Box Set from Pearl Jam's historic 2003 show at the downtown symphony hall, Pearl Jam Twenty Original Edition Deluxe Set Blu-ray and DVD (original version, out-of-print), Pearl Jam X Patagonia Backpack (2011 limited sold out item commemorating the band's 20th anniversary), colored and limited Edition vinyl from Pearl Jam, Mad Season, RNDM, and others, plus the Gibson guitar that will be given away as a raffle prize sometime between 4 and 5pm.

In addition, original artwork by Don Pendleton, Maxx242, Munk One and Jeff Soto is being auctioned at www.CharityBuzz.com - auction winners will be announced at the pop-up event. Admission is free.

Pearl Jam performs December 6 at Key Arena in front of a hometown crowd and Seattle Gay News will be in attendance. Look for a detailed review and exclusive photos in next week's issue.
