Katy Perry's 'Prismatic World Tour' coming to Tacoma

by Albert Rodriguez - SGN A&E Writer

Katy Perry fans, get ready to hear her roar on September 13 when she lands 'The Prismatic World Tour' at the Tacoma Dome. The pop star, a nominee and performer at next weekend's Grammy Awards, previously appeared at Key Arena a few years back. Perry kicks off a 46-city itinerary in Raleigh this summer with scheduled stops in Atlanta, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Cleveland and Denver, just to name a few. The tour is to promote the singer-songwriter's newest release, Prism, which has already produced the monster hit 'Roar.' It's expected that 'Teenage Dream,' 'I Kissed a Girl,' 'Firework,' 'Part of Me,' 'E.T.' and other favorites will be added into her show that includes a performance by opening act Tegan and Sara.

One dollar of each ticket sold during Perry's North American leg of the road outing - she's likely headed to Europe, Asia and/or Australia at the end of the year - will be donated to UNICEF.

Go to www.KatyPerry.com for ticket-on-sale dates and more concert information. Prism is in stores now. Perry has been an enormous supporter of marriage equality and the LGBT community.
