SEATTLE GAY & LESBIAN BOOK CLUB Ð VAINGLORY
The Seattle Gay & Lesbian Book Club meets every Wednesday from 6-7:15 p.m., at Seattle Area Support Groups Community Center (303 17th Ave. E. at E. Thomas St.).

In February, the club will discuss Vainglory by Ronald Firbank, a classic Gay writer who was a huge influence on E.M Forster and Evelyn Waugh. Alan Hollinghurst wrote about him in The Swimming Pool Library. He wrote eight short novels before dying at the age of 40. His first novel, Vainglory, written in 1915, is still available 99 years later. You have NEVER read anything like it. Take a chance on one of the oddest, most eccentric Gay stylists EVER.

This is an experience in Gay sensibility. Its the beginning of camp. For further details, vist the book clubs website.

All GLBTQ folks are welcome to participate in this FREE book club. For more information, visit http://faculty.washington.edu/swittet/SGLBookClub/.
