Kathy Griffin schedules March date at Snoqualmie Casino |

Hold onto your hats, and maybe your dignity, because here comes Kathy Griffin!
Our favorite red-topped comedian (Louis C.K. is technically bald) is headed to our neck of the woods on Sunday, March 23 for a one-night performance at Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom. Griffin recently won her first Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album (Calm Down Gurrl), joining Lily Tomlin and Whoopi Goldberg as the only female artists to triumph in this competitive category.
She'll likely pluck material from it when she appears at the nearby casino and, of course, some of her usual targets - the Kardashians, Ryan Seacrest, Lindsey Lohan, Justin Bieber - are never out of harms way. The two-time Emmy winner could also trash a few new candidates of crazy, like Shia LeBeouf, Amanda Bynes, or Bruce Jenner. Whatever she does, whatever she says, it's guaranteed to be wonderfully hilarious.
On the serious side, Griffin has been a strong ally of the LGBT community and that hasn't gone unnoticed. She was selected as the 2009 GLAAD Vanguard recipient and earned the 2011 Trevor Project Life Award. Interestingly, last year the Chicago-born actress-comic nabbed a rare honor by Guinness World Records for the most televised stand-up specials by any comedian (male or female, living or dead), after producing her 19th broadcasted event. (She's broken that record since with yet another special, aptly titled 'Kathy Griffin: Record Breaker.')
Tickets, ranging in price between $62.10 and $73.60, can be purchased directly at www.snocasino.com, or at www.ticketmaster.com. Showtime is set for 8 p.m. and concerts usually start on the dot - though I hear that the obnoxious (but darn handsome) Bender, from KISS 106.1, is opening or emceeing the show - so, plan on arriving as close to 8 p.m. as possible to not miss a thing.
