Gay City Arts launches Season 2: Crossing the Line

Art is the voice, spirit and conscience of every community and is a vital tool for community reflection, dialogue and pride. Through Gay City Arts, Gay City collaborates with local LGBT artists to galvanize an audience for queer arts, foster the development of LGBT artists, and facilitate artistic excellence that is accessible, including the promotion of new works. Gay City Arts is committed to presenting challenging, dynamic and excellent queer art across a wide range of disciplines, including theater, music, dance, film, spoken word, literary and visual arts.

The Gay City Arts Curating Council is proud to announce the lineup for Gay City Arts Season 2: Crossing the Line. These performances and events seek to push the boundaries, perception and perspective of queer performance. In order to express the LGBTQ experience, what lines have been crossed in the past? What lines need to be crossed now and in the future? Gay City Arts is committed to bringing the Seattle community the best of queer art and performance from a variety of disciplines.

with James Adomian

Tickets: $20
www.gaycity.org/arts
Calamus Auditorium at Gay City

Out & In brings together funny queer people to tell jokes in the Northwest. Headliner James Adomian has been seen on 'Last Comic Standing,' 'Comedy Bang Bang,' and 'Late Late Show.' This show also features a hilarious lineup of local comics.

James Adomian is a daredevil dancing queen - but don't you know deep down he's just a kitten! James was a finalist on the 2010 season of LAST COMIC STANDING, and his many insane characters appear as celebrated guests all over the podcast-o-sphere. He is a staple on COMEDY BANG! BANG! and guest stars on the new season of CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. Catch James live performing standup and characters across the globe at festivals, comedy clubs, gay bars, rooftop parties and radical political events. His debut standup comedy album LOW HANGIN FRUIT was released in 2012 via Earwolf to rave reviews - so don't be the last one to hear it. Set phasers to chill!
