Rihanna's 'The Anti World Tour' descending to Key Arena in April |

Get ready RiRi fans, she's coming to Seattle! The global superstar has included a concert at Key Arena, as part of 'The Anti World Tour' that kicks off February 26 at San Diego's Viejas Arena. Fans in the Emerald City can catch the pop singer on April 24 with special guest Travis Scott, or the night before at Vancouver's Rogers Arena. Other stops include Austin, New Orleans, Miami, Baltimore, Chicago, and Las Vegas. A European leg of the tour will follow the North American itinerary with dates set for London, Amsterdam, Milan, Vienna, and Berlin. Rihanna has released a whopping 7 albums in 7 years with another record, Anti, scheduled to be out in 2016; it will include two previously released singles, 'Bitch Better Have My Money' and 'American Oxygen.' Tickets for the RiRi concert are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets, or charge by phone 1-800-745-3000.
Also headed to Seattle, and a concert I'm personally very excited about, is Galantis. The Swedish electronic duo has enjoyed a banner year in 2015 with two international club hits, 'Runaway (You and I)' and 'Peanut Butter Jelly' with the possibility of another track, 'Firebird,' being released in 2016. Don't be surprised if you see these guys - Mike Snow, Linus Eklow - on the list of Grammy nominations early next week, for Best Dance Recording and/or Best Electronic/Dance Album. For tickets to see Galantis, go to axs.com.
Openly Gay singer-songwriter Troye Sivan, who appeared at Neumos in October, has scheduled another performance in Seattle, but this time at a larger venue, The Showbox SoDo. The Australian artist, born in South Africa, just released his debut full-length recording, Blue Neighborhood, on December 4 and will embark on a tour in 2016 to promote it, which re-delivers him here on February 4. Aside from his own material, the 20 year-old is featured on Zedd's 'Papercut' single. Tickets to see Troye Sivan are available now at axs.com.
Wait...there's more! These artists are Seattle-bound in the coming months as well: Joanna Newsom on March 29 (Paramount Theatre), Rachel Platten on March 30 (The Showbox Market), The 1975 on April 28 (WaMu Theater), Bettye LaVette on May 12-14 (Dimitriou's Jazz Alley), and Journey with The Doobie Brothers on August 23 (White River Amphitheatre).
