Is your life missing a furry friend? Now is the perfect time to open your world to a pet in need. Coldwell Banker's Homes for Dogs program with Adopt-a-pet.com has helped place 20,000 dogs into homes across the country. Could your place be the next happy ending for a pet in need? Make your house a home by visiting the shelter and bringing back the pet of your dreams.

Hershey is an 11-year-old Dachshund who would love to be your best buddy! This happy boy loves a good long play, especially if you have a ball! He'll happily lead you anywhere you want to go. Hershey really loves a good neck scratch. Hershey knows several commands such as 'sit,' 'shake,' and 'roll over.' If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy, come meet him today at Seattle Humane!

As with all of our dogs, Hershey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and a training rebate when you complete a dog behavior course - a great way to start off on the right paw!

Introduce to children 16 years and older. Resident dogs are required to visit Hershey prior to adoption.

Meet Bruce Lee, a smart and affectionate 7-year-old black cat! Bruce Lee has a curious nature and he likes to stay busy exploring and doing his thing. The best home for Bruce Lee would be one with prior cat experience and that will keep him moderately active. Bruce Lee would love some human friends but he'd prefer to be the only pet. Bruce Lee has more than enough personality and love in him to be your precious one and only. Have you seen a more handsome kitty? Meet Bruce Lee today at Seattle Humane and he'll charm your socks off!

As with all of our cats, Bruce Lee has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV and go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and their very own identification tag and collar. PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion - a great way to start off on the right paw!

All November | Love is Ageless. Adopt a Senior Pet

All animal lovers know this universal truth - love is ageless. Senior pets are spoiled and celebrated at Seattle Humane. While these wizened pets have earned shelter royalty, they'd prefer to rule your kingdom instead! Senior pets are awesome - shelters know more about their behavior, they have basic manners, and they're super appreciative of your love! Are you ready to give an animal the best retirement ever? Adoption fees are waived this November for senior pets ages 7 and up at Seattle Humane. Visit them today at the shelter in Bellevue!
