Is your life missing a furry friend? Now is the perfect time to open your world to a pet in need. Coldwell Banker's Homes for Dogs program with Adopt-a-pet.com has helped place 20,000 dogs into homes across the country. Could your place be the next happy ending for a pet in need? Make your house a home by visiting the shelter and bringing back the pet of your dreams.

Derek

Meet Derek, a very cool boy who was transferred to Seattle Humane from sunny California! Derek appears to be a Labrador Retriever mix, and at four years old, he is fully grown. He enjoys playing with the other dogs in our playgroups, greeting them with a wagging tail. Derek will benefit from daily walks to keep him (and you) fit and healthy. If you have time in your life and have been looking for a sidekick for your adventures, come meet this sweet boy today at Seattle Humane.

Derek has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. He will go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and six weeks of training in one of our on-campus dog behavior course a great way to start off on the right paw!

Introduce to small children with dog experience. Resident dogs are recommended to visit Derek prior to adoption. Cat free home due to history.

Alta

Alta is a 2-year-old, beautiful black and white shorthair girl. She is a super sweet, people-pleasing cat who really enjoys getting head loves. Alta also has beautiful yellow-green eyes and cute little white mittens. Please come to Seattle Humane to meet Alta she may that best friend you have been waiting for!

As with all of our cats, Alta has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. She will go home with a certificate for a complimentary veterinary examination and an identification tag. PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion a great way to start off on the right paw!
