Is your life missing a furry friend? Now is the perfect time to open your world to a pet in need. Coldwell Banker's Homes for Dogs program with Adopt-a-pet.com has helped place 20,000 dogs into homes across the country. Could your place be the next happy ending for a pet in need? Make your house a home by visiting the shelter and bringing back the pet of your dreams.

Sandra Day O'Connor

Meet Sandra Day O'Connor, a 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier! Sandy is an energetic and enthusiastic girl: what we call a 'Rambunctious Rover.' This means that she can get really excited over little things. Training will help Sandy channel her energy, walk using a harness, and playdates with other friendly canines are good ways to tire her out and give her the exercise she needs. She's treat-motivated and eager to please (with a smile that is hard to ignore). All good things as you work on her training in one of the training classes included in her adoption fee. You can meet this delightful clown today at Seattle Humane!

As with all of our dogs, Sandy has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and behavior tested. She will go home with a certificate for a complimentary veterinary examination and an identification tag. PLUS, most dog adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion and six weeks of on-campus training classes a great way to start off on the right paw!

Teenagers with dog experience, cat-free home, dog intros required. Please speak with advisors if you are interested in fostering to adopt!

Freya

Meet Freya, an 11-year-old torbie-patterned girl! Freya is a very sweet and friendly kitty who loves affection of all kinds. Freya has Diabetes that's well managed through diet and medication. She will require medical care but is very mellow and mild mannered. Come talk to adoption staff today about meeting Freya she can't wait to meet you!

As with all of our cats, Freya has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She will go home with a certificate for a complimentary veterinary examination and an identification tag. PLUS, most cat adoptions include 30 days of pet insurance from Trupanion a great way to start off on the right paw!

Seattle Humane offers an incredible adoption program for special cats like Freya called 30 First Dates. This allows a potential adopter to essentially foster Freya without commitment. The shelter covers all food and supplies for 30 days and if you fall in love, then it's a match! If not, we learned more about Freya and this experience will help us find her a new home. Interested? Ask our adoption team about Freya and the 30 First Dates program today!

Next adoption special:

Our Gift to You

Dec. 17-23

Don't surprise someone with a pet who isn't ready for one this holiday season. Really, don't do it; too many unwanted pets end up in shelters every year after Christmas. But if everyone in your family is ready for the commitment of having a pet, Seattle Humane's gift to you is $25 all pet adoption fees from Dec. 17-23. It's the perfect way to bring home a cat or dog for the holidays! See adoptable animals at seattlehumane.org and let the merry times begin.
