TAKE A TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP AT THE SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY BEGINNING MAY 28

Explore how to get the most out of your camera while on the road, from trip preparation to going beyond simply point and shoot. The workshops will take place at two Library locations in May and June.

Have you ever come home from a vacation and wished your photographs were better? Learn how to create travel photographs that are souvenirs that capture the amazing things you saw - and felt - during the trip. Explore how to get the most out of your camera while on the road: from preparing for the trip, to how to go beyond simply recording to interpreting while away, to steps to make the most out of the photographs your bring home.

At these workshops, you'll discuss creative settings, learn about working with the best light and photographic themes, and discover how to design truly evocative, memorable images. The classes are appropriate for all skill levels and all types of digital cameras.

ยท o Tuesday, May 28, 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way S.W., 206-733-9125.

o Sunday, June 23, 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Boeing Technology Training Center Room 4, 206-386-4636.

More Information
Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.

Our job skills & digital creativity classes are made possible by support from The Seattle Public Library Foundation, and in partnership with South Seattle College.

The Library's dynamic approach to building community that enriches lives includes programming that brings people, information and ideas together to respect and embrace the well-being of the people we serve. Job resources, digital learning and digital creativity classes are some of the creative solutions the Library finds to meet the public's changing needs and interests.

For more information, call 206-386-4636 or Ask Us at www.spl.org. For ADA accommodations, please contact: leap@spl.org.
