GSBA's Face-to-Face Candidate Forum got down to business

How is Seattle thriving during these boom times? Who is benefiting in our city, and who is being left behind? What voices are at the table, and which are left behind? What will Seattle's City Council look like in 2020? Who will be making decisions that will affect your business, the LGBTQ community, and your neighborhood?

This past Tuesday, September 10 at Seattle Central College's Broadway Performance Hall, audience members heard where several Seattle City Council candidates stood at GSBA's annual Face-to-Face forum.

The forum was moderated by Brady Piñero Walkinshaw (CEO, Grist.org and former 43rd District Representative) and Liz Dunn (Principal, Dunn & Hobbes).

Featured candidates were:

District 1: Councilmember Lisa Herbold, Phil Tavel; District 2: Tammy Morales, Mark Solomon; District 3: Egan Orion, Councilmember Kshama Sawant; District 7: Andrew Lewis, Jim Pugel.

If you need to register to vote, or if you've changed your address since the last election, contact the King County Office of Elections by phone at 206-296-0100, 800-325-6165, TTY Relay 711 or online at https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/elections.aspx for more information. Then cast your vote in the General Election by November 5.
