Pacific MusicWorks presents 'Sanctuary in the City' concerts

A FREE lunchtime concert series offering respite and beauty in the midst of busy and stressful days

We all need a little more beauty in our lives and Pacific MusicWorks is here to help.

We believe that music can make the world a better place, even in the smallest of ways. That's why we created Sanctuary in the City, our series of FREE noontime concerts on the first Wednesday of the month, October to May, at Christ Our Hope Catholic Church at The Josephinum - where Downtown meets Belltown, (1902 2nd Ave) and you can enjoy 45 minutes of beauty in the midst of your day. These concerts bring together music lovers of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds, and are an easy and accessible way to introduce friends to the joy of listening.

Join us on Wednesday, October 2 at 12:10pm as soprano Linda Tsatsanis, violinist Tekla Cunningham, and harpsichordist Henry Lebedinsky present BACH: Conversations in Counterpoint - a look into some of Bach's most personal and intimate music, from arias that explore our relationship to the sacred to a sonata for violin and harpsichord that broke the boundaries of conventional instrumental writing.

Check out our entire season of Sanctuary concerts at http://www.pacificmusicworks.org/sanctuary

These concerts are FREE to the public, but rely on your donations and sponsorships to continue bringing great music to our community. For more information on this and other Pacific MusicWorks concerts and events and how to make a contribution visit pacificmusicworks.org.
