Seattle Gay News announces Brokeback Mountain movie pass giveaway at Purr - bring a Jake Gyllenhaal or Heath Ledger photo for trade-in
It's the movie every Gay boy has been talking about all year. It stars two of Hollywood's biggest hotties, Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger. It won the Best Picture award at the 2005 Venice Film Festival. It's considered a frontrunner for major Oscar nominations. It's called Brokeback Mountain. And if you want to see it for free and before it hits the theatres, the Seattle Gay News invites you to come to Purr Cocktail Lounge (1518 11th Ave.) on Thursday, December 8 to pick up a movie pass that admits two people to an advance screening of the film.

Normally, we give away these movie passes and ask for nothing in return and tell you to enjoy the show. This time, we're asking you to trade something in for it. So to receive a free movie pass to see Brokeback Mountain, we want you to dig through your magazine and poster collection and find a photo with either Jake Gyllenhaal or Heath Ledger in it and exchange it for a pass. We'll even let you cheat and bring in a printed picture off the Internet. But Gyllenhaal or Ledger must visibly be in the photo in order to receive a free pass. Present the photo to the bartender(s) on duty, BEGINNING AT 9:00 pm (no sooner) on Thursday night at Purr. We'll also be giving away a few original soundtracks from the motion picture.
