Daybreak Star to host special Christmas show of contemporary Native American art
The Daybreak Star Art Gallery and the U-Frame-It Gallery on Broadway have joined forces to present a special Christmas show of contemporary Native American art from the Daybreak Star's permanent collection. The exhibition will take place at the U-Frame-It Gallery Broadway, located at 1822 Broadway Ave E.

Featured artists include surrealist works by Jeffrey Chapman and Felicia Lucero-Giaccardo, abstractions by Conrad House, multimedia paintings by Terrance Guardipee, and prints by Marvin Oliver and Susan Point. Proceeds from sales benefit the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation, an urban Native American social services and cultural organization based in Seattle.

Also exhibited are naturalist/surrealist paintings by Whatcom County artist Sam Moore. Moore will give an informal presentation on his work at the opening reception on December 8th from 6:30 - 9:39 pm. Free admission. Gallery hours are

Monday through Friday from 10-6, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 12-5. Free and open to the public. Handicapped Accessible.
