| Bright and early, nominations for the 48th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced on Thursday, December 8. |
As usual, the Seattle Gay News will make congratulatory phone calls throughout the day to several nominated artists via their record labels and management. The eligibility period stretches from October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005.
Here are the major contenders going into the nominations in key categories, plus longshots and personal favorites that I hope will get mentioned.
