Sheldon Jacobs
(1928—2022): A celebration of life

On Saturday, April 23 from 3 to 7 p.m., there will be a celebration of life for Sheldon Jacobs, at CC's, 1701 E. Olive Way in Seattle.

Sheldon was born in 1928 and raised in New York. He was a lifelong actor and singer. After serving in the army, Sheldon performed on Broadway and in touring companies across the country through the 1960s.

He then moved to Los Angeles to act in film and television. Sheldon continued his career after his move to Seattle, while also volunteering at the Museum of Flight as a docent and indulging his lifelong love of airplanes.

He was also passionate about music and art, and spent many years learning the history of family members lost in the Holocaust.

Sheldon was also long-time leatherman, a member of MCs in New York and Los Angeles, and a proud member of Seattle Men in Leather. He was named Seattle Leather Grandad 1995.

Sheldon was an entertaining and beloved member of Seattle's leather community, and was cared for by its members to the end of his life. He will be sorely missed.
