Donald Trump expects to be reinstated as president in August, according to reporting by New York Times writer Maggie Haberman.

Haberman revealed this conclusion — based on conversations with Trump World insiders — in a tweet commenting on a CNN report.

CNN featured several QAnon followers calling for a Myanmar-style military coup to remove Joe Biden from the White House and reinstate Trump.

Haberman wrote in her tweet, "Trump has been telling a number of people he's in contact with that he expects he will be reinstated by August," with an important parenthetical caveat that states "(no that isn't how it works but simply sharing the information)."

A number of Trump insiders made similar comments in the run-up to the national QAnon conference held in Dallas, Texas.

Trump's former national security advisor, Michael Flynn, welcomed the idea of a military coup in his statements to the QAnon faithful.

Trump's former lawyer, Sidney Powell, fitted out for the occasion in a biker vest, also told the conference that Trump should be reinstated as president. According to Powell, there was "abject fraud and obtaining a coup of the United States of America."

Mike Lindell, founder of MyPillow and massive advertiser on Fox News prime time, said in an interview with Steve Bannon last week, "Donald Trump will be back in office in August." Lindell vowed to file a lawsuit to confirm evidence of voter fraud during the 2020 election.

According to Lindell, he would go to the US Supreme Court in August with evidence he says he acquired on January 9. Lindell claims the evidence will be so convincing that the justices will be forced to reject the 2020 election results.

Other Trump followers say they are pinning their hopes on the so-called "audits" of ballots now being conducted in several states by a private contractor hired by Trump supporters. The theory is that these "audits" will discover irregularities that previous official recounts covered up.
